Eagle on the Cedar
During an unseasonably mild Sunday in January, I grabbed my camera and took a walk on a nearby trail along the Cedar River. It was late in the afternoon and I was surprised to find not many people were out walking. You don’t get many 55 degree days in Iowa in January. As I headed down a path, I was entertained by some smaller birds – nuthatch and chickadees. Then, to my amazement, I looked up and saw this guy posing for me.
