A Tour of the Tennessee State Capitol

While in Nashville for Spring Break, I decided to take in the Capitol building while the rest of the fam was “straightening their hair”. Besides that, it was right across the street from the hotel and, obviously, the weather was beautiful. Tennessee has a proud proud heritage. On the grounds you can see many statues of guys like Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, and James Polk. Yeah, they were US Presidents who served in a time long, long ago. There are lots of interesting things you can see inside and outside the Capitol grounds. Here are a few samples. Check it out – it’s free!
