I didn’t either. While the great TV coverage didn’t show any blades out of place at Augusta National last weekend, there sure weren’t any signs of the colorful azaleas that grace the course. I guess that is just one downside of an early Spring. The other downside of an early Spring is the threat of a hard freeze after the buds emerge. That was the case here in Iowa, but we have 2 Azaleas that seemed to go unscathed. We have 3 more whose blooms died before they opened. Here are the two that made it past the frosts from last week, plus our live yard ornament having a grub feast.
