Attractions of the Coneflower

Here is Domino.  Domino is a Monarch butterfly perched on a coneflower

I know.  You’ve seen a million pictures of butterflies on cornflowers.  Well, here is a million and one.  I really don’t get tired of them.  I love coneflowers, too.  Have you ever touched those orange spikey parts?  How’s that for a scientific description?  Well if you haven’t you’re in for a surprise.  They are hard!  They actually feel to me like 200 sharpie pens all in a circular bunch.  Except when you touch them, they don’t leave a mark.

Don’t ask me where that bee is getting all that pollen.
Yep, you guessed it. One million and two.
