Chicago at Night

We live about 4 hours from downtown Chicago.  That is just enough time to think twice about going and short enough to make it a quick trip when the urge strikes for something different.  During a recent trip there this past summer, I got to venture out after dark and capture the fabulous architecture through my lens.  As I’ve said many times on my blog, there is so much to do in Chicago and the city has so much to offer.  Plan a long weekend there any time you get the chance.  I hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed taking them.

The lighted centerpiece of this shot is the Wrigley Building. It is situated along the Chicago River and sits on Michigan Avenue at the beginning of the famed Magnificent Mile. The building at the foreground is the base of the newly constructed massive Trump Tower.
This is a view of the Trump Tower. It boasts a very high end hotel and office building.
This view is taken under a roadway along the Chicago River. The neon lights are from a yacht cruising towards the harbor on Lake Michigan that I captured during this 2 second exposure.
